CityCat and ferries
Accessible ferries
CityCat ferries are fully accessible for passengers who use a wheelchair. They have wide access gates and seating inside the cabin and at the back. CityCat ferries also offer hearing augmentation to help people with hearing difficulties.
CityFerry and Cross River Ferry services are not accessible.
Accessible ferry terminals
The following CityCat terminals are fully accessible:
- Bulimba
- Hawthorne
- Mowbray Park
- New Farm Park
- Northshore Hamilton
- QUT Gardens Point
- Regatta
- Riverside
- South Bank
- Sydney Street
- University of Queensland
- West End.
Assisted access may be needed at the following CityCat terminals—CityCat crew are trained to help:
- Apollo Road
- Guyatt Park.
All customers are reminded to exercise care when travelling at low tide as ferry terminal ramp gradients may fluctuate with tidal movements.

Guide, hearing or assistance dogs on ferries
Certified guide, hearing or assistance dogs can travel on all CityCats and ferries as long as they are wearing their 'certified guide, hearing and assistance dog' badge on their coat or harness. If travelling with an assistance dog, always carry your handler identity card.

A range of subsidies, concessions and passes are available for use throughout Queensland.
